25 Creepy Photos That Will Make You Believe In The Paranormal.

There are some phenomenons that defy logic. Things and events cannot always be explained with concrete reasoning. Not everything makes sense, leading some people to believe in the paranormal.

Whether it’s UFO’s, ghosts or simply time travellers, there are plenty of stories to give us reason to doubt everything we have been taught. With the proof of photos and videos, a lot of stories stop being urban legend and turn into mysteries that need to be explained. Take a look at 25 chilling images needing a lot of explanation. #11 is going to give me nightmares.

#1. Solway Firth Spaceman.

In 1964, a man took a photo of a girl standing by herself. When the film was developed this astronaut appeared out of nowhere.

#2. The Babushka Lady.

A mystery woman is caught taking photos of President John F. Kennedy after he was shot in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963. Neither her nor her photos were ever found.

#3. The Madonna.

“The Madonna with Saint Giovannino” is a 15th century painting by Domenico Ghirlandaio. Near the top right of the painting, a strange looking flying saucer appears while a man and his dog seem to be looking at it.

#4. Phoenix lights.

People saw strange light formations on March 1997 in Phoenix, Arizona. Triangular and stationary lights were reported. It is still unknown what caused this phenomenon seen by thousands of residents.

#5. Freddy Jackson picture.

An air mechanic named Freddy Jackson was killed by a plane propeller in 1919. His squadron had their group photo taken two days later but when the film was developed, Jackson appeared with his team. The image was coincidentally taken on the day of the man’s funeral.

#6. Hook Island Sea Monster.

A couple took a photo of an 80 foot creature swimming near them in 1964. The sea monster swam off but not before opening its mouth to them.

#7. Time traveler.

In a clip from a Charlie Chaplin film in 1928, a woman is seen walking down the street holding to her ear what appears to be a mobile phone.

#8. Battle of Los Angeles.

In the late evening of February 24 and the early morning of February 25, the Great Los Angeles Air Raid took place. Also known as the Battle of Los Angeles, it its believed the photo below is an extraterrestrial craft.

#9. Fairy circles.

In Southern Africa, large circles measuring anywhere from two to 15 meters in diameter appear. Scientists are not sure how these “fairy circles” appear. One theory is that sand termites are responsible for this phenomenon. Although the circles are too large for what this species can do.

#10. S.S. Watertown Ghosts.

A crew was convinced they saw the faces of two sailors in the water after they died in a freak accident in 1924. The men were buried at sea and the captain took this photo to prove their appearance.

#11. Elisa Lam's unexplained death.

In 2013, Elisa Lam was found dead in the water tank of the Hotel Cecil, located in the rooftop. The roof was barricaded off at the time. Furthermore, the hotel video shows the 21-year-old going in and out of the elevator while she made gestures and spoke. She also seemed to be hiding while the lift seems to be malfunctioning.

#12. Black Knight Satellite.

An unknown object was seen orbiting in space in 1960 before it vanished. Reports of other things flying continue to be made.

#13. His Favorite Chair.

In 1891, Lord Combermere’s family hired a photographer to take photos of his funeral and home after he died from being hit by a horse-drawn carriage. Inexplicably, Combermere is captured sitting in his favourite chair while he was being buried four miles away.

#14. White Lady.

Peter Berthelot took a photo of his wife Diane while visiting the Worstead Church in Norfolk, United Kingdom. When the photo was developed a strange woman who was not there during their visit appeared. The couple spoke to the vicar who informed them it was the White Lady, a healer and resident ghost in the church.

#15. Copper Falling Body.

The Copper’s took a family photo at their new home. When the film was developed, a dead body hanging upside down eerily appeared.

#16. Geophone Rock Anomaly.

A photo taken during the last flight to the moon by Apollo 17 shows a pyramid after the image was exposed.

#17. Hessdalen lights.

A strange light keeps appearing in Hessadalen Valley, Norway. The white-yellow illumination floats over the ground by itself, mostly visible between 1981 and 1984 up to 20 times a week. In the last couple of years, the strange light is only seen about 10 to 20 times per year. To date, researchers do not have any concrete explanation for its appearance.

#18. Skunk Ape

A woman took photographs of a large animal she spotted in her backyard in Sarasota County, Florida in 2000. The “Skunk Ape” photos were sent to the sheriff’s department anonymously by the woman who was convinced the creature was an ape.

#19. Falcon Lake incident.

Stefan Michalak claimed he got close enough to touch an unidentified flying object in Falcon Lake, Canada. Michalak said the UFO flew off knocking him to the ground. The man said the burnt marks on his body came from the machine’s exhaust vent. Michalak suffered from symptoms equal to radiation.

#20. Ghost appearance.

This 1963 shot is considered to be one of the most famous paranormal images. Snapped by Revered K.F Lord in the Newby Church in England, the photo has been analyzed by experts numerous times. The terrifying cloaked figure is near the altar and Lord has been adamant that he was the only person in the room.

#21. Tulip staircase ghost.

When Rev. Ralph Hardy took a photo of the Tulip Staircase in the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, England, he had no idea a figure would appear. People believe this area of the museum is haunter and footsteps are often heard here.

#22. Time travelling hipster.

A man seems completely out of place in a photo dated from 1941. The stranger is at the South Fork Bridge in Gold Bridge, British Columbia wearing a t-shirt and hoodie. Believed to be a time traveller, the man dubbed the “time travelling hipster,” is also seen carrying a modern camera with him.

#23. Virgin Mary apparition.

A Muslim mechanic noticed a woman on top of the roof at the Church of St. Mary in Egypt. Believing it was a woman attempting to jump, the police investigated and found nothing. Our Lady of Zeitoun was seen for two years, beginning in 1968.

#24. Balcony watcher.

A figure from the third floor balcony appears to be watching two men at work in 1918.

#25. Hampton Court ghost.

A security camera captured a figure closing the Hampton Court doors in London, England. Guards didn’t find anything when they arrived on the scene. The ghost is believed to be one of the many spirits to haunt this royal palace.
