Ever since Alissa Bousquet was diagnosed with breast cancer, her husband Brad Bousquet has stuck by her side. Alissa went through approximately 500 rounds of chemotherapy to fight her disease, and finally, her treatment was about to come to a close. That's why Brad wanted to do something beyond special for her very last round.
"She has amazed me with her strength, courage, and positive attitude through it all. She still has a few surgeries ahead of her but completing chemotherapy is huge milestone in her journey," Brad wrote on YouTube. "I wanted to do something special during this last treatment to celebrate the end of her chemo and to show her the tremendous love and support she has from her friends and family."
What he did is simply amazing, and it actually involved their entire community. First, Brad contacted a local florist, then enlisted the help of the town and the Susan G. Komen. What resulted were 500 roses, $4500 of support for the foundation, and a wife's reaction that is absolutely priceless. See the heartwarming video below.
