Sandra Bullock responded to rumors that she adopted another child.
The mom of one, who already has her adopted son Louis at home, dismissed rumors that she’s expanding her family in an interview with the Associated Press.
In fact, if she had adopted another little one, Sandy says you’d know by now. “There’s only one adopted child in my household, and his name is Louis. If I had a second adopted child, everyone would be hearing about it,” she said. “I would be loud and clear and say, ‘Yes, I have officially adopted a second child.’ Right now, Louis must be it.”
The actress, who is busy promoting her new film, Our Brand is Crisis, was joined by her co-star Billy Bob Thornton for the interview, and said she enjoyed shooting the movie in New Orleans. “That was part of the prerequisite for me,” she said, referring to the three places where she’d like her son to be able to attend school during filming: Austin, Los Angeles or New Orleans. “He was very happy,” Sandra said.
Sandra adopted Louis in 2010, and recently said she has begun talking openly with the five-year-old about racism. “It’s not a conversation any parent wants to have with their child— that you’ll be judged on the color of your skin rather than the content of your character— but it exists and I want him to be safe and I want him to be aware,” she told BET.
